STELLAR PROGENY
Four famous show business personalities kept a discerning eye on MGM's explosive drama of today's teen-age hoodlums, "Hot Rods to Hell." All had sons in the picture, made at the studio where each parent had gained initial recognition.

The boys are Jim Hennagan, son of Gwen Verdon; Josh Harding, son of Isobel Lennart; Tim Stafford, son of Anna Lee; and Mickey Rooney, Jr.

Miss Verdon, currently the toast of Broadway in the musical "Sweet Charity," began her career as an assistant dance director at MGM.

Miss Lennart, who wrote the triumphant "Funny Girl," started as a junior writer at the same studio.

Miss Lee was under contract to MGM for several years.

An Mickey Rooney, Jr., practically "lived" at the studio, where his father was one of its biggest money makers.

In "Hot Rods to Hell," the second-generation actors have roles in support of Dana Andrews, Jeanne Crain, Mimsy Farmer, Laurie Mock, Paul Bertoya and Gene Kirkwood.
