SCOTCH AND SODA
During the filming of MGM's "Hot Rods to Hell," young Tim Stafford, who enacts the son of Dana Andrews and Jeanne Crain, solved the problem of "pets on the set."

After seeing Miss Crain's tiny toy poodle, Tim wanted to bring his considerably larger basset hound to the studio.

When it was decided that this was impractical, Tim settled the matter in his own way. Finding two desert turtles, he gave them a home in his dressing room. Their names are Scotch and Soda, and Tim exercised them on a leash after each "take."
