HORTENSE PETRA IS "GOOD LUCK" CHARM
Although MGM producer Sam Katzman claims he isn't superstitous, he always sees to it that his picture include a role for his "good luck charm, " his wife–Hortense Petra.

In his last film, "Hold On!" Miss Petra portrayed the role of a blonde, party-giving society woman who played hostess to Herman's Hermits in her palatial home.

The actress again appears in her husband's current production, "Hot Rods to Hell," starring Dana Andrews and Jeanne Crain.

But the new role is a far cry from the former.

In the explosive drama of today's teen-agers, seeking thrills in endangering their lives and others in fanatic racing competition in hopped-up gas buggies, Miss Petra plays the tragic role of the wife of a man who emulates the speed mania of youth and is killed.
